Museum/Texas

In the past month, we had a fun day the LA Science Museum and USC, and took a trip to Texas.  What's been so exciting to see is Logan's development.  Besides his growing (story on one of the photos below), his talking and understanding has progressed so much.  He is now speaking in complete sentences--some of which is understandable.  But he also seems to understand everything that is said to him.  How exciting to see all of the development.  We loved seeing everyone in Texas.  We were able to visit with Mimi, Granddaddy, Val, Tommy, Lauren, Nana, Momum, Dada, Leslie, Wes, Alex, Lizzie, Jamie, Kevin, Samuel, Jacquie, and Mark!  It wasn't long enough with everyone but we were grateful for the time we got.  We also made it to Margie Beth's Bakeshop and had some delicious treats!  Mimi's walking progress was inspiring and such a blessing to see.

Sitting at his table reading.

Logan loves going through books by himself.  He talks his way through them.

Cozy couch time before bedtime.

The ice wall at the Science Museum.  "It's cooooold".

A little snowmobiling trip :)

Just like at the zoo, he loves the aquariums.

As always, he was a great traveller in cars and on the planes.

Some airport playing in Phoenix.

Grandma packed an airplane present with a drawing tablet...

...and some stickers.  Thanks Grandma.  Daddy enjoyed them.

Mimi and Granddaddy at their new house.

It is going to be such a blessing to them!

One highlight of the trip was cousin play.  Logan loves playing with Alex, Lizzie, and Samuel.

Samuel was a very sweet big cousin to Logan.

We went to feed the ducks but the ducks weren't really interested.  Don't know if they are well fed, or if two crazy boys was just too much action for them.

So we just ended up playing.

It's not a trip to Texas til you drive a John Deere!  Logan loved the tractor.  All week he pointed to the garage and said "Big Truck".

Happy cousins!

Lizzie showed him some iPad games.

Piano lessons from Dada.

Good mood on the way back too.

A sad moment.  While swinging at the local park yesterday, Logan's feet drug the ground.  He's getting so big.  He's clearly a boy now.

Inspiring
