Happy Mother's Day

Happy Mother's Day to our wonderful moms and nanas.  We are truly blessed to have Monica, Vicki, Susan, Sally, and Marge in our lives.  God has given us wonderful moms who choose to follow Him.  We know that we receive many blessings because of the choices they've made.  We are grateful.

We had a very nice day celebrating with friends at church and then my (Lyndsey) family.  It was refreshing and relaxing.  Brad surprised me with flowers earlier in the week and a photo book this morning of pictures from the past year.  Very sweet husband, as always.

Here are a lot of pictures from the past several weeks.  I have been feeling better and we've been able to go out a couple of times as a family--first time in months!  We were able to make short trips to the Zoo and Disneyland recently.  I am definitely looking more pregnant and now in need of my maternity clothes!  We will find out in a few weeks, hopefully, if it's a boy or girl.  We are all very excited about that but overall we're grateful that the baby's heartbeat is strong and that the baby is definitely growing! Logan is also doing very well.  My favorite thing about him right now is his talking.  We are able to communicate so much more.  When I give him something he usually says "pls" (please) and he is now saying "thns mom" (thanks mom) after the fact.  It warms my heart.  He is fun, energetic, and seems to just have a love for life--and his family.  He is also now in his big boy bed (pics below).  We are in a new "2 year old" phase and the things that come with that, but he usually responds to correction, which is good.  Let's just say, he also knows how to say, "sor" (sorry) now too!  We love him immensely and look forward to training him as he becomes a little boy!

He fell asleep on the couch and I hadn't taken a sleeping picture of him in a long time.  Sweet boy.

His friend Nico gave him Play-Doh for his birthday and Logan LOVES it.  He likes to make balls and then says, "Big Dada, Mama, Baaabbbyy".

He loved the Carousel at Disneyland.  He rode it 4 times.

He also got to ride Dumbo with Daddy.  Logan made it go up and down, up and down.

He loved It's a Small World and danced and jumped on the boat.  He now tells us everything that he sees on the ride.

Cutie enjoying a snack at Disneyland.

He recently saw Toy Story and was excited to see the big Buzz Lightyear.

Bath time fun!

Crazy hair and saying his favorite word, "bluuuue".

Grandma was over helping us and Logan was hiding.  Can you find Logan?  =)

Logan loves all of his new Legos from Dada and Momum.  This is a clever mobile tower that he made with a car as part of the foundation.  We're not sure Dada would approve of the structural integrity!

He got 3D glasses at Chick-fil-A with Grandma.

Mommy was napping and this is what Daddy and Logan did!  Silly boys.

Logan has been in his big boy bed for a couple of weeks.  He loves to play in it during the day as well.

Out on a play date with Daddy

After his 2 year pictures he got to ride the carousel at the mall.

He makes pancakes out of his Play-Doh and then "grills" them--he flips them and everything!

Helping Daddy again in the yard.

Logan really loves to Swiffer Vac our house.  It keeps him busy for quite awhile.

Concentrating on his coloring.

 Here he is watching TV...

Now he's magically dressed for church without taking his eyes off the TV!

Maybe we have an athlete in the family.  He's good with his basketball hoop, with kicking a ball, and now with hitting a ball.
