Made this post a few months ago and forgot to post it. Here are some highlights from September-January.
Celebrating Lyndsey's birthday at the Rainforest Cafe
Logan's drawing of our family. In case you're wondering, those are brains in our heads and food in our stomachs. :)
Our school group Paideia has done several big events over the last semester. Here, Logan and his friends are exploring nature and completing a nature scavenger hunt. Logan's friends Blake and Jeremy are holding his hand because he had just fallen down pretty hard. They stopped and helped him up and held his hand til he was ok. Such great friends!
Sleeping Beauty
Lyndsey and I went to the Hollywood Bowl to see The Lumineers for her birthday.
Hard work being Claire :)
Selfies to Mommy
Another school event was a group of kids learning how to take the LA Metro trains from one point to another. In prepping for the trip, Logan and I drew a landmarks map so that we would always know we're on the right track (pun intended). His map was really good.
Train station
A new feature in Logan's room are bunk beds.
At my last 7D mix of the series.
Proud of this. What a journey it is to write a script. It finally hits the TV about 2 years after you start writing it.
Claire's (left) and Logan's (right) own designed Halloween pumpkins.
One of Claire's many Halloween costumes.
There is no 5 year old boy in the world who likes being "cushy" (comfortable) more than Logan.
At another school event
Finally got to see a private cove in Carmel that we've never been to before.
Not a Carmel trip without bathtub pics
Our annual kids and Daddy Christmas Eve Eve living room campout
Logan spends a lot of time on these highly detailed marker board drawings.
Silly Claire selfie.
Pizza date with Daddy while Mommy stood in the Santa line for us.
Up at Lake Arrowhead on our impromptu pre-Christmas cabin trip.
Very excited to have now watched the first 2 Star Wars movies with Logan. He has wanted to watch them for a long time and we finally got to.
