We are having a very fun summer! Warning- it's been awhile and this post has tons of pictures! Logan continues to be fun loving, sweet, and happy. We are all doing well. Brad is now working on a new show called "The 7D". He is enjoying it very much and working hard. I am approaching the third trimester of pregnancy. We are getting very excited to meet baby girl! When we ask Logan what we should name baby sister he says, "Dude!' every time. It's very funny. Whenever we have play dates with friends and there are babies he gets very excited. He loves to be around the baby and he is very gentle.
We have had a very eventful summer. We recently had a fun visit with Leslie and Wes. They drove from Texas and brought us a crib, a Lego table, a rocker, and very nice baby girl clothes. We were so grateful! It was great to see them. Uncle Wes came home with a surprise for Logan too- his own toy tool box, tools, and drill to play with. The tools have gone everywhere with us. He takes the screwdrivers in the car with him everywhere we go. They came on our play date, to the grocery store, to Carmel, to Grandma's house-- he would sleep with them every night if we let him. We have been able to go several fun places also-- trips to the L.A. Zoo (thanks Momum and Dada), Disneyland (of course), the beach, swimming, and play dates with friends. We also just returned from a vacation in Carmel. We had a great week there (thanks again Momum and Dada!). My family and the Lanthripes were able to join me and Logan for a few days at the end also!
We had dinner at the Bass Pro Shop. Logan and Daddy got to explore all of the cool outdoor stuff.
Logan liked the big boat!
Daddy's cool new effect on his new phone caught Logan playing in the backyard.
Silly boys making faces at the camera.
Logan loves to play Play-Doh at his table in the kitchen.
Swimming in his little pool at Grandma's house. This is a water balloon in mid-explosion.
Uncle Bud and Aunt Sammi filled up a bunch of water balloons. Each one lasted about 3 seconds once Logan got it. =)
We're safe! Toilet Paper Man is here! Logan has a new thing of putting the toilet paper rolls on his hands. Side note- this is the room that we are cleaning out to be Logan's "big boy" room. It was previously our guest room/office. Brad painted the walls a blue-ish gray (after this pic) and Logan already says he wants to move in!
Logan likes to see his crazy hair after bath time.
We had a fun day at the Zoo with Aunt Sammi and Jodi.
We went to Disneyland to celebrate Logan's good friend's 5th birthday. Logan loves Mason, Liv, and Dylan and asks to play with them often.
I went to the Tim McGraw concert! We were in the front row in the pit. Baby girl moved all night long. It was very fun. Here is a pic of me and Lolo.
I went with my parents, Aunt Kathy, Uncle Randy, Sammi, Lolo, and Jenn.
We were this close to Tim!
Father's Day 2013. Brad and I went to a movie and had a nice meal with my family.
Logan and I went to visit Brad at work on his last day of "Jake and the Never Land Pirates". Logan loved it and he drew on the artist's tablet. We then had a fun picnic lunch at the park. We are very grateful for Brad's 3 years on this fun show.
Our friends, the Kaylors, let us go swimming at their house while they were on vacation. Here is Logan getting ready for his swim day.
It goes around your waist Amigo...
Logan loved being in the water and was very brave jumping to Brad and kicking. He told me, "No Mama, I do it" in the pool. He wanted to do it all by himself-- not yet Buddy!
He swam by himself to Brad, with the help of the blow up turtle.
On our vacation last week we took a trip 20 miles south of Carmel to Big Sur. It was a gorgeous drive on the California coast. We walked along the creek in Big Sur.
Logan climbing- big boy.
We went back another day with my family and let Logan walk up the creek.
He gathered several good rocks- one of his favorite activities.
Logan loved the blue bus also. He wanted to go on it and not leave.
We celebrated 4th of July at Carmel's city celebration. We are thankful to live in this country and celebrate our freedom.
I believe he was eating watermelon and waving his flag at the same time...how American!
We took a day trip to Santa Cruz and went to the pier. We had a lot of fun and beautiful weather. The boardwalk is on the beach and Logan got to ride several rides. Aunt Sammi rode a race car ride with him, he was cracking up.
Logan also had several "cheerleaders" on the rides he went on. My family and the Lanthripes cheered him on. I love my dad's face on the side of this picture.
He also got to ride in his very own helicopter. This was his first time to ever go on a ride alone. He loved it and asked to go again, so he went twice. =) He finally figured out how to pull the lever to make the helicopter go up and down. He cracked up each time he made it go up. It was adorable.
Grandma and Logan on the Merry-Go-Round.
Logan asked to take a "bubble bath" several times in Carmel. He loved saying, "bubble bath" and being in this fabulous tub.
The King cannot be bothered while taking his royal bath. Little boy in a very big tub!
Grandpa and Logan at the cove.

Having fun at "Pizza My Heart" in Santa Cruz.
Grandpa, Randy, Aunt Sammi, and Aunt Lindsay helped Logan build his own "house" using the patio cushions in the house. He had fun.
We made delicious waffles one morning.
Even though Brad had to go back to work, I had lots of help! Logan had a great time playing with Randy, Cindy, Sammi, Lindsay, my mom and my dad. He was well taken care of for sure!
