Busy Times!

We apologize that it's been so long since an update!  It's been quite a busy time for our family.  It is getting very close to baby girl's arrival and we are very excited!  The doctor says she continues to grow and be healthy- thank you Lord!  At the end of this week I am considered "full term" so it could be anytime!
We have had a lot of fun outings, time with friends and family, and busy work and ministry schedules over the past month.  I (Lyndsey) just finished up my last work week (well everything is almost done!). I am so grateful for my time on staff at Church in the Valley.  It's been a real blessing to me and it has been a privilege to serve and get to know the families that God has brought to our church.  I had a wonderful team of coworkers and volunteers to work with also.  I am sad to be leaving this position, but excited to still have the opportunity to be the Elementary Girls Director (as a volunteer).  This is my favorite part of the job- working with the teachers, the elementary girls, and the curriculum for Sunday School!  My friend, Carlene, will be the new Children's Ministry Director and she will be wonderful.  I am also very appreciative of my hard working husband and the opportunity that our family has for me to be a stay at home mom- I know that is a privilege.
Brad has been working very hard on his new show, "The 7D".  His promotion as head editor officially starts on Monday!  It is a great show- very funny (actually makes me laugh out loud).  He also has a new role at church.  He is leading a Creative Team and continuing to help with communications at church.  He makes amazing videos often too!  If you "Like" Church in the Valley Diamond Bar on Facebook you can follow his posts and sometimes he puts his videos as well.
Brad and I were also able to go away over Labor Day weekend just the two of us!  We went to Carmel and had a wonderful, relaxing, refreshing weekend.  We saw whales, read, watched movies, and really enjoyed the time together.  Logan stayed with my family and did great.  He loves being with them and definitely gets a lot of love and attention!
Here are a lot of pics from the last month!

Checking out the water on "It's a Small World".  We've been to Disneyland 3 times in the last month with different friends!

He loves the Carousel!  When we go by the castle he says, "Mama there's the castle!"

This was a very HOT day.  But Logan loves to be outside.  We sat on the patio and played "Loopin' Louie"- a game that he likes.

Brad decided to let Logan have a roasted marshmallow.  Logan promptly requested "more".  Then it became an every night thing at Logan's request.

Daddy loves lighting the fire on 100+ degree summer days!

Logan and I went to the beach with a couple of other mom friends.  Logan loves the water, playing in the sand, chasing birds, and being with his buddies.

 Happy boy!

Logan and his good friend, Noemi.

Another Disneyland trip- this ride is "Buzz Lightyear".

We also rode "Dumbo" on this trip to Disneyland- Logan was trying to wait patiently for the ride to start- but he really wanted to fly!

Logan and Caleb (Noemi's brother) at the L.A. Zoo.  Fun morning.

This trip was our first time to watch the elephant care taking show at the Zoo.  The kids loved it.  Logan loved the sounds that the elephant made, watching him get his "bath", and seeing him catch food in his mouth.

My baby isn't a baby anymore!  He is our big boy.

Date with mommy to the mall- we played in the kid's section and shared a Wetzel's Pretzel.

On my birthday I took Logan to see his first movie in the theater- "Planes".  I wasn't sure how it would go, but he did awesome!  He watched the whole movie!  It helped that there was only one other mom with her 2 kids in the whole theater too!

Enjoying a big drink!  (He also got a haircut and is all cleaned up now for baby sister's arrival!)

 Enjoying some popcorn with mommy.

Yet another Disneyland trip- this time we are watching the Disney Junior show.

Being silly with Grandma- pants on his head.

Grandma and Grandpa took Logan to Huntington Beach- he got their favorite- strips with cheese!

Logan loves to cook with Grandma.  He's enjoying some breakfast with her when he stayed with them for the weekend.

Logan swam a lot in his "dinosaur" when he stayed at Grandma and Grandpa's.  You can see, he has his stash of water balloons on his lap!

Grandma and Grandpa also took him to the splash pad a couple of times!

Brad and Logan built a Lego city one night when I was out.  =)  Logan LOVES his Lego table!

Playing with Daddy in the backyard.

Cutie.
