Daddy got a wake up alert at 1:30 am Friday morning October 11, 2013. And at 8:10 am Claire joined us. She is 6 pounds 10 ounces and 19.75 inches of sweetness! Most of all, we are happy to report that Mommy and Claire are healthy and doing great.
We've already got some great bonding time with her alone, then Grandma, Grandpa, Uncle Bud and Aunt Sammi came and brought Logan for his first meeting with little sister (still "Dude"). He instantly loved her and wants to rub her and talk to her, hold her hand, and even give her kisses. So sweet!
It's so much fun to sit and hold her and stare at her...our beautiful (biased) girl. It's amazing to us how much she looks like Logan's newborn pictures. Here's a rough post of our first 6 hours with her.

Logan got a doctor play set while at the hospital. He loves the stethoscope and likes to make sure Claire's heart beat is ok.
