Luke 24:6-7 "He is not here, but has risen. Remember how he told you, while he was still in Galilee, that the Son of Man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men and be crucified and on the third day rise.”
Below are a ton of pictures from Easter, some exciting "firsts" pics for Claire, and a few fun videos! =)
City of Glendora Easter Egg Hunt
After church we went to my mom's house to have lunch with my cousins and had another egg hunt!
Logan LOVED dying Easter eggs this year!
We did Resurrection Eggs (toddler version) to teach Logan the real reason we celebrate Easter, and read him the Easter story in his Children's Bible.
Easter Egg Hunt at church- Logan opened all of the eggs and only wanted the prize/candy inside the egg in his bag...not the eggs. Silly boy!
Logan and his good buddy Dylan loved the big balloons.
Logan sleeping in his bed with his new baseball bedspread and pillow!
Silly face family selfie!
Selfies! (Logan style)
Claire Update #1: She is now putting her toes in her mouth!
Brad lets Logan do "big jumps" onto the couch. Mommy says, "I don't like that! That's TOO crazy!"
"I'm so high Mommy! Mommy doesn't like that!" Haha.
Logan is loving his cars and road rug right now. He lined them ALL up along the edge and then drove each car to exactly where he wanted it to go, then "parked" it and came back for the next. It was very deliberate. Here is the result:
Brad got this Disney Junior Micky Mouse hat from work when Logan was a baby. For the past couple of years it has been his "dancing" hat. On this day he put it on and we danced to his "Jake and the Never Land Pirates" CD (also from Brad's work!).
My mom took Logan to the LA Zoo last week! He had a great time on his special Grandma date, and Mommy took care of Claire after her 6 month shots (she did great by the way). When Grandma takes Logan to the zoo he gets to ride the Merry Go Round (twice), eat chicken tenders, and ice cream! (None of which happens when mommy takes him!)
Claire Update #2- She is 6 months old and sweet as can be! She rolls over, "scoots", smiles, laughs, turns the pages of a book, reaches for EVERYTHING, and can sit up on her own for short periods of time. Big girl! (Update since I typed this. She just sat up for 10-15 minutes straight today!)
Our monthly photo shoots are definitely getting more active!
Claire Update #3- She is now eating solid foods...and loving it! Here she is eating rice cereal for the first time.
Big brother was her helper and cleaned her up. =)
Logan playing at our church picnic today. He was very brave and did all of the obstacle course bouncers. He had a blast!
Claire ready for food #2......
......sweet potatoes! She loved them!
Funny video of Logan blowing out his birthday candles on his actual birthday. We practiced blowing for a while before his birthday and as you can see he was doing it well, just not aiming quite right.
This is the first day Claire started putting her toes in her mouth. =)
Video of her eating her rice cereal the first time.

Love the LA style traffic jam in the bottom right of the car mat results photo!
ReplyDeleteHa! Unfortunately our 3 year old is VERY familiar with traffic already! He says, "Oh man!!! There's traffic AGAIN mom...go through the cars fast please!" Mommy feels the same way Logan (as I tell him that we have to be patient!).
ReplyDeleteMy favorite is that he always says "Daddy these cars are blocking us!" I just reply "Story of my life Logan."
