Exciting News!

We are very excited that Sammi and Pablo got engaged last Friday!!!  Pablo took Sammi on a wonderful date day--starting with breakfast, then Laguna Niguel, then Duke's restaurant in Huntington Beach, sunset on the pier, and then a celebration with family and close friends!  Wow!  It was so fun to celebrate with them.  We are thrilled for them and know that they will be a great team.  We have watched them both choose to follow God and love people and we look forward to seeing how God works in them and through them as they start this new exciting phase together!  Logan has started to say "Uncle Pablo".

I'm also including our Thanksgiving, Christmas (so far), and other pictures.  From posting several times recently, we're actually caught up on pictures-yay!  Sorry about that 6 month hiatus!  We also put 2 videos of the kids dancing at church this morning on the bottom of this post.

We have had a really fun Christmas season--full of family, friends, food, and celebrations!  We've looked at lights at least a dozen times (our kids love it)!  We've made fires, drank hot chocolate, decorated (Logan helped Daddy decorate the outside), wrapped gifts and now we're ready to celebrate this week.  Logan understands more and more that the reason we celebrate Christmas is because Jesus came to earth and that is the best gift we can ever receive.  He is enjoying his Christmas books and reading his Bible (from Mimi & Granddaddy) every day.  From our family to yours-we wish you a very Merry Christmas!

 This is where he proposed!

Goin' to the chapel and they're gonna get married!!

 The arrival!

Sammi and her best friend, Lindsay--such a great moment to capture!

 Ellie and Claire-sweet friends!

Pablo and his sweet sister Val (who is also Sammi's current roommate)!

 My cutie pie

I love this-telling the story to all the ladies!

Family!  Sammi and Val will soon be sister-in-laws!

My mom decorated the house very cute-in spite of their house being under construction from a pipe leak and having cement floors!  It looked great.

Randy & Cindy have invested in Sammi since she was in preschool.   They love her dearly.  =)

As you can tell, Brad is already quite comfortable with Pablo-ha!

I can hardly believe my baby sister is getting married.  I'm so excited!

Best friends or as they say...#bestiesfortheresties...ha!

Uncle Pablo! (Claire is in Logan's old PJ's and looks a LOT like him I think.)

 Welcome to the family Pablo!

My mom and dad are thrilled with Sammi's choice.  Pablo is kind, considerate, fun, servant-hearted and has a heart for God and ministry.

I can't remember if I ever posted these cute pics of Auntie Lolo with the kids at the park.  Logan still calls this park "the one with Auntie Lolo"-I guess it made an impression!

Buzz Lightyear ride.

This cracks me up-Brad was very serious about getting points, I think Logan is giggling at him!

 Riding Jeremy's new scooter together.

We had a little birthday breakfast for Jeremy and Claire.  Claire really enjoyed her cookie cake!

My mom's cute Thanksgiving decor-in spite of the cement floors!

Pablo made us all a ham for Thanksgiving- it was delicious!

 Happy Thanksgiving!

 Sammi's roommate, Jodi, joined us!

My mom makes a really delicious Thanksgiving meal!  Claire enjoyed it.

Thankful for our beautiful girl on Thanksgiving!

Logan playing in his own personal basketball bounce house from Bud.

She was in the early phases of her walking at Thanksgiving :)

Love her!

So grateful for our family!

 Holiday Stroll in Glendora

 Decorating  =)

We did our annual Legends & Lights night with about 25 family and friends.  It's one of our favorite  nights of the year.  Our kids loved the lights.

Brotherly love at the park.

The pics from our Christmas card.

We celebrated Family Christmas at Church in the Valley this morning.  It was so fun!  A big thank you to Dada and Momum for Logan's awesome fire truck Christmas sweater!  He looked handsome in it!

Claire was dancing in her pretty Christmas dress (Grandma made her gold bow and got her gold shoes!).

Brad looked so handsome!

The kids had a dance concert at one point!

Claire with her sweet friends Blake and Jeremy!  They love her and she loves them!

I thought this was so cute- Logan was hanging out (eating, talking, laughing) with his two good buddies Caleb and Dylan.

Me and my friend Gina with our girls!  They both had on gold shiny shoes!
