December was a really fun month for us! We got a lot of family time, fun events, and our children once again love Christmas decorations and lights. A highlight was going Christmas light looking almost nightly. On one really good street near us we let the kids get out of their seats so they can look out the windows. They love it! And in the midst of all of the events, decorations and presents, we are happy that Logan seems to really seems to understand that Jesus' birth is the reason we do all of this celebrating. Our Family Christmas Celebration at church was a lot of fun. The kids enjoyed seeing Brad on stage as he "hosted"-- it was their first time to see him up there. We celebrated Christmas Eve at Grandma and Grandpa's (Greg and Vicki's) house, and Christmas day at our house. Literally every single gift was a hit for the kids. Logan opened his first gift from Aunt Sammi (a Playdoh Buzz Saw truck) and excitedly exclaimed, "This is the BEST Christmas ever!". It was so funny. On the 26th, we drove to Carmel to spend a few days with Dada and Momum (Jim and Susan), Uncle Jack from London, and the new dog, Penny. It was great to see them! Greg gave us Rose Bowl tickets (with a pre-game tailgater) and they watched the kids so we had a fun date day on New Year's Day. We're so grateful for all the blessings of 2014 and we're looking forward to another great year this year. We hope you all have a great year too!

It was a fun night with Grandma and Grandpa, and our friends Emily, Liv, Mason and Dylan
We had a big family movie night watching "How the Grinch Stole Christmas" with gourmet popcorn. Claire and Logan enjoyed snuggling.

Christmas morning was a blast. Claire's kitchen was definitely a hit with both kids.
The kitchen gets a lot of play every day.

Eating stocking goodies
Claire found them too!
Present opening with our kids is interesting. They open one, then play with it for a long time, then go to the next. Our Christmas morning took a long time!
It was such a fun morning. This is his Transformer from Dada and Momum.
A little excited about his new Planes movie. Thanks Haywoods!
Open, play, open, play...
Logan plays with toys while Claire plays with the wrapping. This is a cool ice cream set from Mimi and Granddaddy.
Working through all of the presents.
Logan got a magnet set with a lot of games to help with his and Mommy's learning time.
Daddy and Logan built his first real Lego toy. Thanks Haywoods!
Pablo scored big points with a Radio Flyer wagon for both kids! We give wagon rides daily!
They love riding around together.
Lyns and Claire in Carmel
We remember walking down to the water when Logan first learned to walk. Now it's Claire, our big girl!
Nightly the wagon is for toy hauling. They both load it up and then pull it all over the house.
All loaded up!
Greg got great Rose Bowl tickets and watched the kids to let us go. A great day! Good seats too-- huh?
