Happy 4th Birthday to Logan!

Our "baby" boy is 4 years old!  He had a great birthday.  Ever since he turned 4 he's been saying, "Look what I can do now that I'm 4!" That is followed by him reaching for something high up, or jumping off of something, or climbing, or drawing, etc.  He's very excited about being 4 and clearly feels "older" because of it.  We celebrated at our house on his actual birthday.  My mom and dad came and took him to lunch and to get ice cream- just the 3 of them.  He loved that.  Then we had dinner with my mom, dad, Uncle Bud, Sammi, Pablo, and Lolo that night and opened presents.  Logan loved everything he got-- thank you to our generous family!  Logan helped make his own birthday cake and frosting (he chose vanilla cake with vanilla frosting).  He was a great helper.

Then, on Saturday we celebrated with a few of Logan's close friends and their families at the La Habra Children's Museum.  It was a fun day!  We are grateful for Logan to grow up with wonderful friends.

Here are "flashback" pictures from his previous birthdays followed by pictures from his 4th birthday.  We love him to pieces and are so grateful that God gave him to us!  He's growing up and learning so much.  Last week we took our friends a meal because they just had a baby.  He helped me make the meal and then we drove it their house.  He was so patient and on the way home (while sitting in traffic) he sweetly said (completely on his own), "That made God really happy that we helped them mommy."  It was such a sweet moment and a gift to see that he was thinking about that as we drove home.  I'm proud of him and love watching him mature.
