He is risen! We love celebrating Easter. It is a beautiful season to celebrate Jesus' sacrifice on our behalf and his triumph over death. Because of Easter we have hope. We are grateful. Logan truly enjoyed the Easter story this year and we love doing resurrection eggs with him. I read this in my Bible this week and was so humbled by what Jesus did for us:
1 Peter 2:21-24, “For to
this you have been called, because Christ also suffered for you, leaving you an
example, so that you might follow in his steps. He committed no sin, neither was deceit found in his
mouth. When he was reviled, he did
not revile in return; when he suffered he did not threaten, but continued
entrusting himself to him who judges justly. He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we
might die to sin and live to righteousness. By his wounds you have been healed.”
What a tremendous Savior we have who invites each of us into a relationship with him. We had a wonderful Easter celebrating with our church family. We love the egg hunt and fun festivities. After church we had lunch with my family and a nice, relaxing afternoon. Here are some pictures of the kids today.
(We'll post Logan's birthday pics soon-- can't believe our big boy is 4!)
